My favorite is pompous of snotting. YIKEEIES! Andrea, I just finished my first scarf--big needles and two strands were a GREAT help! Faster is funner is my knitting motto :) Christina gave me tiny needles and gorgeously thin yarn for Christmas but i had to jump ship. After hours and hours my to-be-scarf was only the size of a mouse afgan. Not a fitting first project for this "faster is funner" girl. I'm hooked. We'll see if it's a season or if it lasts...
