Tea Cozy Progress
I'm part of a KAL (Knit a long) on Ravelry with a group of very creative people working on tea cozys. Yep, I was looking through their stuff and was inspired and joined in..but can't get the photos to upload into the discussion area. So here they are for all of us to enjoy (and if you jumped here from Ravelry, thanks for taking the extra jump to see the work in progress)
I'm jumping off an idea I saw on Ravelry using a quilting philosophy of making "pieces" to randomly add together to get a knitted, pieced effect. Very fun and creative. I already had a rectangle of brown - and made that the bridge across the top of the pot. I'm making "pieces" which are sewn around the ends & sides. About half are done - others are coming to fill in the holes! I'll then embellish and play with some color & texture to finish it up. Very fun so far!
