The kids started school this week. I worked on our family blog posting pictures of summer vacation, kid's camp and the first day of school. Wanted to get this blog up and running for the fall as well. Note the new Meez - a sign I'm transitioning into another season.
I also updated the list of links on the left side of the blog. Added a few more blogs I love to read and updated the places I love to shop for yarn. Be sure to note the K1 Scottish Yarn Boutique on the side - just browse their Irish & Scottish yarns. Wonderful and stimulating.
I have been knitting and will post soon. My hands are busy with the Big Squishy Lovefest which was inspired by Brooklyn Tweed's blanket re-vamp of this old, tried and true pattern. I loved his so much I'm making almost an exact copy - so unlike me. Guess that is the highest compliment for Brooklyn Tweed. I don't even need to tweek it...but it isn't finished yet so let's not start yelling it before that actually comes to pass. Will add photos soon and get my fingers knitting on the second piece.
