New Patterns

Had a wonderful email from Laughing Hens in the UK, alerting me to some of my favorite designer's newest books & magazines. These girls are pumping out pure inspiration to get something new on our needles for the Fall/Winter. I'll share photos and links of some that grabbed my eye. Feel free to browse and let me know what is tempting your needles:

The first two are entitled Phoenix and Hunang all from Louisa Harding's newest, Chinoiserie. This whole book is full of highly structured, subtly textured east meets west patterns. Interesting makeup and photo styling as well. Worth looking at a second time.

This is a little number by Louisa Harding entitled Saturday Kashmir. I love the hem & sleeve trim. I like the small picot border before the hem. Haven't seen it like that before. Would love to look at this up close and in person.

This is the new stunner in Debbie Bliss' new book, Land Girl. It is currently entitled number 3. Would love to see this thing up close and look at the moss stitching on the hoodie and the cable sleeves that are eye catching but not too bulky. Stunning -and I even love the red!

This pattern is making me consider learning intarsia - all the features that I love in one "way over skills level" garment. The pattern is called Alisa is part of Rowan's new magazine, Rowan Magazine 48

I love the yellow sweater and the read hooded one is gorgeous too! Do you actually knit things like this these days? If so, that's awesome!!!
