Wanted to give you a quick link to the Ravelympics 2010 just incase you haven't checked in to the site yet. My family didn't know the knitting olympics events happened - I was shocked. Have I raised such knitting illiterate folk? Yes, we knitters have our own events & medals! Knitters are nothing if not spirited by a little international competition.
I'm not participating in an official event - I've already got something on my needles and will work on it during the olympics (at least the commercials) but won't compete within the guidelines. Will love to keep my eye on some of these girls - they can really knit with speed and skill. Fun to be a knitting spectator. We need cow bells or something...I'll work on this idea!
