Stop for Turkeys

Want to give a blog shout out to the Ambulance Driver Man who smiled and laughed with me as we sat on opposites sides of the rural, apple farm road waiting patiently for SIX wild turkeys (or domesticated turkeys running away from their farm pen?) to cross the road. Unlike deer, turkeys don't run one after the other in a quick line. Nope. They cross the road One. At. A. Time. Each one crosses and the other waits for a second or so before beginning the journey across the road. Ambulance Man and I sat and watched them and grinned at each other through our windows. The last one crossed, we waved at each other and laughed out loud. Quite a funny moment. Turkey Crossing!
