I comandeered a corner of the living room this weekend. I used a card table we borrowed from my parents for holiday entertaining. I placed it between two windows and drug over a standing lamp when the sun started to sink in early afternoon. A space where my machine can stay put and I can sit and learn all the features will help me get through the tutorial stuff and onto some fun projects. So Saturday was spent fluctuating between wild cheering & frustration...amazement and puzzlement...A day in the corner was never as fun as this!

Now that the space is ready and practice is underway, I"m getting ready to start on my first "real" project on the new machine. I already had the material and some big ideas but needed to get designs & numbers on paper. My math genius son helped me with numbers, proportion and border placement. You can see how formal the final blueprint looks! Enough of a plan to get me cutting this great material and sitting down to play at my new machine!
