I spent the night in Krakow, Poland in the heart of the old Jewish quarters. We stayed in a building that gave a detailed history of the architecture & use since the 12th century! A quiet, tree lined street that once housed a thriving cultural life. It now draws tourists with hotels, restaurants, and Jewish historic sites. This shutter lined street of shops was at the end of the boulevard and I loved the light and coloring of this shop's shutters. It would be a great inspiration for dyeing a sock yarn..I don't spin or dye but would love to inspire those who have the skills.
