French Girl Knits

I"ve been gone for about a week and a half. Feeling under the weather physically and emotionally since I've been back home. Winter drags on. Moving details take a lot of energy. I've been waking up with sinus headaches plotting when I might be able to take a nap later in the day...

But the other day I stumbled upon a delightful site: French Girl Knits. They have released a new book through Interweave Press entitled French Girls Knits. It has some whimsical and romantic pieces. They carry a line of beautiful yarns. And they have a French knitting tour set up! Yep, you read that correctly. A trip to France including some new yarns and tutorials, touring some great locations, rest in a delightful setting, a wine tasting at a nearby castle. The entire thing sounds delightful.

I've often read about knitting cruises or trips and am not sure if I'd like it or not. This sounds tailored for me. Destination. Location. Schedule. Interests. Did I mention knitting in France?

So during this week of the trudge & doldrums I've been dreaming of a French knitting Tour vacation. I may never take one but I've been on one in my mind several times this week. In my mind the weather is lovely, the knitting spectacular, the yarn enticing, the wine strong & sweet, the villages & tours inspiring and the trip relaxing. Want to join me on this lovely vacation?
