What's happening around the needles

Still working on the Here and There Cable Scarf. Have completed the pattern repeat 4 times and getting the hang of it. Loving the cables so far...can see why this is addictive! Enjoying space in the cafe to work on it this week. What a fun texture to have growing in my lap as I continue to cable & knit

Drinking: cappuccino, coffee with mint Baileys and whipped cream, whole leaf teas: christmas and Lady Grey
I'm still spending Wednesday & Thursday afternoons at the BioCity cafe intown while kids go and come from music/drama. Had to include this photo take by my daughter this week...a devoted hot chocolate drinker and budding photographer

Listening to: Ingrid Michaelson "Be Ok". I've had a couple songs on a playlist but just completed the album to have on in the background while I work (and write this post!)
She has a great website you can check out at ingrid michaelson

Reading: A Three Dog Life
A wonderful, moving, haunting memoir from Abigail Thomas about the reality of life with her husband after he suffered a Traumatic Brain Injury. Makes you laugh and hurt and smile and hug your husband a little tighter. What a fragile, delicate thing we call "normal" life. A great read.
