Peppermint Bark
I've found a new taste that has completely captured me this Christmas season - Peppermint Bark. I hear Sonoma Williams sells the stuff for $22 per pound and people buy it faithfully and feel it's worth every penny. Guess I haven't been in the loop on this trend. But I did follow up a link to a Rita's Restaurant Clone recipe of Peppermint Bark
The recipe is easy to follow. I melted both my chocolate chips and white chips in the microwave and cooled the layers by putting it outside on the frozen porch (covered, of course!). It tastes INCREDIBLE and looks just like the picture. This is an easy, no fail treat that will gain you fame & glory - if you give any away to any of your family or friends.
You have my permission to try this recipe and keep the entire first batch hidden just for you in some secret little hideaway place in your house that your husband or children never look (I recommend somewhere in the laundry room when they dare not enter!) Eat the whole thing by yourself and smile.
Wishing you a merry bark!
