Merry Christmas!

We had a perfect last Christmas holiday in our home. Over 20 of our friends came for a 3 course foodie evening, completed with carol singing, Scripture reading and game playing. We wrapped the last gift and set up Santa (hope I didn't let the cat out of the bag and spoil it for anyone who still believes!) just a little past midnight.

We had a wonderful morning with Christmas tea, cookies, appetizers...and a huge pile of gifts. It took us hours to leisurely open, talk about things, make coffee, eat more appetizers...a beautiful family christmas.

After lunch we took a "mandatory family walk" must to the protests of our pre-teen - but enjoyed the fresh snow, fading sunlight, and crunchy coldness of this day.

All we delighted to warm up with homemade pumpkin pie & more coffee.

The turkey is almost done and we're anticipating a wonderful, slow, beautiful dinner together.

Wanted to think of you and wish you a merry christmas!
