knitting at the Bio Cafe
A new cafe opened last week - the Bio Cafe. I adore it. Green, brown & wood interior. Bio drinks and homemade baked products. Smoke free. Good music. A wonderful find in this little town.
I have a two hour block of time where kids come and go from music and drama club...and today I spent it in the Bio Cafe. Kids came and went and I read my book for the Ravelry Jane Austen Book Club and worked on the big squishy lovefest. Finished the big piece and cast on for the second to last little piece. A little success after yesterday's spaghetti fiasco.
Also wanted to show you the Thistle Downs felted bag that I adore. It's enjoyed lots of trips to the grocery store, school pick ups, and an occasional trip to the Bio Cafe. I love carrying it around and smile whenever I use it. (Remember that they sent me a certificate saying I'd look like a Smashing Darling whenever I used it - and it's true!)
Happy knitting (esp on those holiday projects) to you today

I love that Thistle Downs Wool Bag! and I wish I had a Bio Cafe near by...sounds cozy!
How delightful! That is just wonderful. In fact, you've inspired me. Time to go knit on one of the Christmas projects. Right now it's booties and a checkerboard--which happens to be from 'Weekend Knits'--which I happened to read about on your blog! Great book!
AND I heard Christina bought some needles the other day! I'm so happy she's now converting :)
Hi to all Pitchers and Becca :)
