Wine Cozy
I had two balls of Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Chunky in colors that I ordered online but that didn't match my project once I saw them in person. I wasn't sure of Laughing Hen's return policy (They're a British company) so I decided to knit them up in the tea cozy that is buzzing around Ravelry. It was a fun project I started on a train ride this month and finished up easily before Christmas. I'm planning on bringing it to New Year's Eve with a nice bottle of wine as a hostess gift. A perfect accessory to a holiday party.
The pattern said it takes only one ball - but it took two of mine. Knit on size 7 needles (US). A pattern I'm planning on doing again when I have some yarn to whip up quick.

That is fabulous! I had never even seen a bottle for a wine cozy!
Happy New Year to you!
Hello there, I hope you don't mind I dropped in from Leslie's blog (A Friend To Knit With). I'm wondering where you are in Europe? And where are you from originally? USA? I am from England but now live in Texas!
I love your wine cozy, I've seen a pattern before but not made one, it would be a good gift to make. So many good knits, so little time!
Hope you've had a good Christmas, and here's wishing you a Happy New Year.
Denise
