My Thighs in Paris

We had three coveted Lindt Christmas chocolates left over after our French wine dinner party the other night. My children and I were claiming "dibs" on the little sweets. My oldest son worked the situation like a pro. Very sweetly he said, "Mom (tender gaze) you don't want to eat that last Christmas chocolate. You know it will go right to your thighs." Pause while I give him a look that says he might not be alive at Christmas if he keeps talking about my thighs. So he smoothly slides in the kicker, "If your thighs get too big you won't be able to walk around PARIS." (sly grin)

Oh, that's a good one! It will add weight to your thighs and you won't be able to walk around Paris. Nice try. I still get the Christmas chocolate but cudos to his wit, charm & nerve.
