waiting on material

I've spent the past week playing with a borrowed sewing machine. Nothing fancy - just the basics. I've been brewing ideas for a baby quilt based on two patterns I've adored. (Stop snickering, Fur Jeans, you know I can't do just one pattern and follow it exactly!) I'm banking on the fact that high end quilting genetics run through my body so I can pull off this creative feat on my first spin with the new machine.

I ordered my material today from a Fabric Outlet in Etsy. My shopping cart was full of Lizzy House Red Letter Day prints. So much better than anything I ran across in my local material shops. I'll let you know when it arrives this week and if it is as striking in person as it is online. I hope so!
