I'm barely getting our kids ready for the first day of school - so a blurb about Christmas prep seems a little out of season. However, this is highlighting the Christmas Shoebox drive that Samaritan's Purse does every year. They need to receive the shoeboxes early enough to fly them internationally and distribute them for Christmas to children around the world. So they're just about on time asking us to get involved.
This video is sweet and moving. Ignore the Veggie Tale parts and listen to the voices and watch for the video of children opening their boxes last year. A beautiful reminder to all of us to be aware of those living different lives from us - and to give some Christmas away this year.
