Churchmouse Yarns, Bainbridge Island

I'm visiting my brother in Seattle and spent a couple hours enjoying the shops and sights on Bainbridge Island. A little foggy so the ferry ride looked like the ship about to go over the edge of the world in Pirates - but nice once we were on the island.

Churchmouse Yarns was closed last time I was here for inventory. I was thrilled to see it open today. Was there just as a open knitting class was about to start. They had a wonderful needle section (what I was officially going to the store for) some wonderful Namaste bags to adore, tons of great yarn & finished projects to adore, and books at 40% off. A great experience. They even had some squishy arm chairs for my family to sit in while they waited.

I found two skeins of yarn in Huron that match the ones I received in New York. I found a pattern that required more than the two I had...but then I found two more! Four will be more than enough for the pattern as written so no adjustments necessary. I'm bringing them on the airplane with me tomorrow and will roll them into balls as I fly back to New York. A fun way to kill a few plane miles.

Will add photos and details when I can.

If you're in Seattle or on the island it is definitely worth the visit!
