Smashing Darling (Thistle Downs Wool)

I saw this on September 18th as Sarah from Thistle Downs Wool put up a photo of what she was working on at the fair. I fell in love, lust, envy, jealousy, love immediately. I've always admired her felted bags. Oh my! Those who saw my three felting disasters know the time & energy that go into felting...and it doesn't always come out looking desirable - much less Smashing Darling. Okay, hers always do and I admire that.

Most of her bags have had wooden/hard handles and I'm not into that in a bag...but then I saw this one. My colors & pattern with a SOFT LEATHER HANDLE. Moved my admiration and desire into a MUST HAVE category in my life.

So I wrote her and have been checking her store often (more than I want to confess on this blog!) for a month waiting for it to appear. Today she wrote me an email to get to the store pronto - and I did - and it was there...waiting for me...

Thought I'd also post this little beauty...that they sent after the purchase was complete. I have it in writing that I LOOK SMASHING (So does the bag!)
