I'm about half way through knitting the red dog for Tobi and am preparing what will come off the needles next. I once read that you've done half the work by the time you cast on your first stitch, since planning, thinking, purchasing yarn & supplies is the first half of any project. As I'm finishing one, I'm jumping into the first half of another!
I want to knit a baby kimono and this pattern looked fitted enough and definitely cute - and was free to boot! I want to make it for a little boy who will be born this Spring - but thought I'd knit a 6 mo. size for the fall. I wanted something soft, organic and "rich" looking.
I love working with Debbie Bliss Cashmerino yarns but couldn't find the color I was wanting. Laughing Hens enticed me with this Inca mist in nutmeg. I haven't worked with it before but anticipate good things.
Any suggestions or experience with the yarn?
It's fun to play with bright red cashmerino and dream of nutmeg Inca Mist...
