Steve Martin & Turtlenecks

This is an acutal conversation had in our kitchen yesterday:

My husband was teaching a special seminar at a local high school and came to a startling realization of HOW MUCH OLDER he is than a high school student. He came home processing this thought - outloud -

"I'm old. I'm like Steve Martin to them."

I join in the conversation:
"That would make me Diane Keaton. Bummer. No more nude scenes for us. I'll have to keep my turtleneck on"

Others in the kitchen found this whole exchange quite comical (they're much younger than us as well!)

(This idea might comfort our own teenaged children who don't want young parents or contemplation of any nude scenes!)
